A melange of cultural influences—Finnish heritage chair-making, spare Shaker style, Japanese design traditions—resulted in Akademia, with its straight frame and softly curved seat and backrest. Crafted in solid oak or ash in a range of finishes, the versatile seating from designer duo Kaksikko is well suited for both residential use and varied public environments.
