Castor takes its name from the French word for "beaver"—and provides an apt cue for Reflector Floor Lamp. With the Toronto-based designers' punk-infused irreverence, gold-foiled leather stretched across a circular frame limns the shape of a beaver pelt. Acting as a diffuser for the LED light housed in the lamp's stem, the textured foil's reflections give off a warm ambient glow. Controlled via an embedded power switch in the stem, with the angular structure smoothly finished in black powder-coat.
