Chord Chandelier

Think of this gleaming metal arc as jewelry for a room, as do its designers at Brooklyn's AlexAllen Studio. Alexandra Burr and Allen Slamic say they tread a fine line between richness and restraint and their Chord Chandelier exemplifies that notion, with an LED light strip module hidden in its sweeping curve. The semi-circle seems to abstract the shape of a traditional crystal chandelier while warm illumination emanates from within. Fully dimmable, Chord is available in a quartet of finishes—gun metal, brass, bronze or white—and 3 significant sizes, all with the soft glow of light underscored by the more-than-impressive geometry.
