Sometimes the cleverest design is so foreseeable that it begs asking why the bright idea didn't switch on earlier. Case in point is the Walhub collection of switch cover plates plus integrated hooks. Suspend keys and umbrella or scarf. Or slide in mail, bills or notes. It gives the otherwise banal cover plate a higher purpose! Because it was designed as a 3-part system, the hook part can be positioned on the left or the right of the switch. (It also will allow for extensions to be added as they are introduced in the future.)
With a screw driver in hand, simply use the standard holes from the existing light switch plates to attach Walhub to the wall. No new holes or anchors needed.
Not only was this light bulb of an idea conceived in San Francisco by designer Justin Porcano of the multidisciplinary design studio Upwell, it's also manufactured from UL-approved injection molded ABS plastic on the same coast by Vancouver, WA,-based SinoTechUSA. Of course, it took a trip to New York's ICFF for us to connect with Justin. Go figure.
