Stockholm-based Massproductions nabbed Furniture of the Year at the Elle Decoration Swedish Design Awards for this elegantly minimalist line with a thin, steel tubing frame that supports extravagantly plump cushions. Company founders and designers Chris Martin and Magnus Elebäck already enjoy a reputation for their high-quality offerings in a modernist vein. The look of the Mega Sofa was inspired by a rack of freshly baked loaves that Chris saw in the bakery close to his office and translated into a sculptural and deeply comfortable furniture concept. Available in a range of fabrics, in 2-seater, 3-seater and day bed versions with varied frame finishes.
