Tea Towels

Grids, color and layering all play primary patterns in the lively work of Stefan Scholten and Carole Baijings, who established their signature studio, Scholten & Baijings in 2000. Their graphic patterning and colorways, always with a fluorescent streak, are a hallmark of their work, both inhouse and created for other design houses, as in the case of these arresting tea towels they did for Hay Denmark.
Sold in a pack of two as shown here, these towels are the ideal size and cut from a high-grade, soft woven cotton. Stefan Scholten graduated from the Design Academy in Eindhoven, The Netherlands and Carole is self taught. Together they make a dazzling team.
