Wax

What's animal, mineral, vegetable, not to mention synthetic and petroleum? Why, wax, of course. There is something so poetic about the stuff, the way it can take any shape. And some beautiful shapes there are. Even the humble birthday candle holds so much promise in its tiny flicker. We could wax all day about it.
